Toddler Program
Our Toddler Program cares for children from around 18 months to 2 years. At Early Wood Montessori, our classrooms are designed to meet the curious and independent nature of a toddler, allowing them to explore in a carefully prepared environment.
Under the guidance of our Montessori-trained guides, this environment helps your child refine their gross and fine motor skills, develop independence and confidence, strengthen language skills, and practice social skills. Activities like music, movement, and practical life work build communication, self-reliance, and grace — nurturing confident learners ready for every new step.
Our Toddler Methodology
Autonomy
Supports toddlers as they begin to say ‘I can do it!’—offering safe opportunities for self-feeding, dressing, and simple choice-making.
Cognitive
Develops curiosity through sorting, stacking, and matching games that strengthen focus and problem-solving skills.
Language
Expands vocabulary and expression through songs, finger plays, and interactive reading that spark joyful communication.
Social-Emotional
Guides toddlers in sharing, taking turns, and identifying feelings, helping them learn empathy and cooperation.
Physical
Encourages movement through dancing, climbing, and creative outdoor play that enhance balance and coordination.
